Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale gave fans an unforgettable night at ShattaFest 2026, held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, October 17, as thousands gathered to celebrate his birthday.
The event brought together members of the Shatta Movement and music lovers for a night of live performances, dancing and celebration.
One of the evening’s most emotional moments came when Shatta Wale appeared overwhelmed by the massive turnout and broke down in tears while looking across the packed stadium.
Several Ghanaian musicians also joined the celebration, including Medikal, Fancy Gadam, Sista Afia, Edem and Patapaa. Their appearances added to the excitement as fans enjoyed performances from some of the country’s popular artistes.
The festival was organised in partnership with MobileMoney Fintech Limited, continuing the collaboration between the company and Shatta Wale’s festival.
ShattaFest 2026 once again demonstrated the dancehall star’s ability to bring together a large crowd through music and his connection with his loyal supporters.
The concert has added another major moment to Ghana’s entertainment calendar, with fans celebrating both Shatta Wale’s music and his birthday.
